Description
Philippine Business is the country’s premiere business magazine today. It is published by the Makati Business Club to answer the demands of a business magazine to present a clear, well-researched and in-depth view of business developments in the Philippines. It also contains news and information on the Philippine economy with particular focus on trade, investments, economic forecasts, growth sectors, regional reports and tourism.
The Publisher
Philippine Business is published by the Makati Business Club, a business association organized as a Forum of Constructive Ideas. Established in 1981, MBC is a non-stock, non-profit organization composed of almost 800 chief and senior executives representing over 400 leading corporations in the Philippines. MBC members come from all major business sectors in the country – manufacturing, services, banking and finance, agribusiness, and commerce. Philippine Business forms a part of the MBC group of publications. Other MBC publications include MBC Research Report, CongressWatch Reports, and the Philippine Government Directory.

Distribution and Readership
Philippine business is distributed to top and senior corporate executives, investors and entrepreneurs, fund managers, and policy decision-makers with a keen interest in the business and economic affairs of the country.
Published ten times a year with a print run of 5,000 copies, the magazine is distributed locally and internationally through MBC’s network of contacts. Complimentary issues are distributed through executive floors of major hotels and de luxe resorts, banks and financial institutions, various local partners and overseas business associations. It is distributed at key business conferences and investment missions that visit the country and brought on Presidential visits outside the country. In 2005, PBM will be distributed among selected Philippine Embassies across the globe. Copies are also sold in selected bookstores and newsstands in Metro Manila and in major cities nationwide.
MBC Members come from among Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and senior business executives of the largest corporations in the Philippines. The companies they represent come from all major business sectors in the country - manufacturing, services, banking and financial institutions, agribusiness, and commerce. Membership in MBC is by invitation.
